Football Expert Sutton Battles Singer Olly Murs in Top Flight Predictions
Arsenal's 10-game winning run came to an end by Sunderland before the global hiatus, however will the Premier League leaders bounce back against north London rivals Spurs this Sunday?
"{I believe like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a plan for this game," stated football expert Chris Sutton.
"Frank will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this season - but Mikel Arteta's side usually still find a way to win."
Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League fixtures this term, against AI, fans and a variety of special visitors.
For week 12, he faces singer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United supporter.
Murs' new album, Knees Up, is available on Friday.
Soccer and Parenting Life
Murs is a skilled footballer as well as a accomplished singer and has been a featured player of several Soccer Aid matches down the years - but he is not intending a serious comeback as a footballer.
"{I recently played in a benefit match the other evening for a mate of mine," he said. "The team was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you want!
"I still love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it even now isn't where I want it to be. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it properly again.
"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am preparing for the moment that my child or son decides to play instead."
Murs and his wife his partner have a young family, Madison and Albert, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their manager.
"I won't push football on our children but I've already told Amelia that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be managing their weekend football team," he said.
"I observed my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I obviously was involved with a football club for a while too.
"My father coached with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I get it from. He managed our team for two or three seasons and had great fun with it. That could be the next step for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Top Division Forecasts

- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea might have to wait a bit longer for Cole Palmer's comeback from fitness issues but their offense is already stronger with Pedro and Delap both back fit.
I still think this game will be fairly close, though. Burnley are well organised and their sole at Turf Moor losses so far have been against Liverpool and the Gunners.
This suggests a 1-1 tie to me, but I am in fact going to choose the London side to win narrowly for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.
Sutton's forecast: 1-2
The singer's prediction: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3
AI's prediction: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Cherries have lost their previous couple matches - although both of them were on the road - but they got thoroughly beaten by Aston Villa last time out which surprised me.
In contrast, West Ham secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those games were at home, they do look competitive again.
West Ham's only away win this season came at Nottingham Forest in August, when West Ham manager Nuno was previously that team's manager.
Therefore, what on earth do I go with here - will it be the Hammers continuing their streak under Nuno, or Bournemouth responding?
I am going to choose Bournemouth, because I think what occurred against Villa was a blip.
Sutton's forecast: 2-0
Olly's prediction: The home team are doing well but West Ham have improved under their boss. 2-2
The algorithm's prediction: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were seen as one of the frontrunners for relegation before the season began, but they have surprised a several people under their manager and are in good form with three wins in their last four matches.
A family member told me to get Bees striker Igor Thiago in my Fantasy Football squad a few weeks back and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.
Thiago will likely score again on the weekend but I am nonetheless not going to select him or support the away side at Amex Stadium.
They have not had great success on the road this season, and Brighton are consistently strong at home. Brentford will attempt to attack on the break but I feel Fabian Hurzeler's side pose much more of a danger.
The analyst's forecast: 2-1
The singer's view: It could be one of those games where you expect there is going to be a many goals but it actually proves to be quite close. 1-1
The computer's prediction: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a massive fixture for the Cottagers, who have suffered defeat in five of their last six matches.
They have have lots of quality in their squad but it still seems like they could be sucked into a relegation fight.
Regarding the Black Cats, indeed they are the unexpected success of the Premier League campaign so far.
Their performance in the two-all tie with Arsenal last time out was superb. We have not seen any other team rough up the Gunners like that this season, and they were more than a match for them.
The sensible thing to do to back the Black Cats here, because they are clearly capable of disrupting Fulham up too and, the previous occasion they were in west London, they defeated the Blues at the close of October.
But I am not choose that. Rather, I truly need to carry on going against the away team with my forecasts. I am taking a lot of responsibility for their positive results because they evidently love to defy my predictions.
Considering Fulham's at Craven Cottage form, the sole team they have been defeated by is the league leaders. Marco Silva's team will be absolutely desperate for a positive outcome, so I am going to say they will secure three points.
The expert's forecast: 1-0
The guest's choice: I know Sunderland are performing strongly and additionally that Fulham are on a poor streak... but they have nonetheless been decent at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
AI's prediction: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
It is a tough one to predict. The Reds have suffered seven of their last ten matches in all competitions, but might they be among the teams who benefit from the {international break|
